Thanks, vnb, for all the replies. I’ve got one more question for you since you seem to know stuff about internet.
Could you share your advanced Ethernet adapter settings?
https://prnt.sc/w6U4h098Vuoz

I'd like to do some testing using a LAN cable with my Realtek 5GbE adapter, instead of the USB TP-Link adapter.

One very important thing I've noticed: whenever I change the Transmit Buffers and Receive Buffers values, the game always feels different. Because of that, I'm curious what the optimal values are for CS2 or gaming in general.
Thanks!

This will depends on which chipset your router/modem uses. For me personally i am on Broadcom and those chips loves high values buffers.

Anything lower than 256 is really bad on Broadcom, however if you have a Qualcomm, Mediatek, Realtek chipset inside your router you can go lower without issues.

I would say best middle ground nowadays would be 1024 buffers. Work your way from here try higher and lower and see how it works for you.

IIRC usb type-c ethernet works very well with small buffers, whereas integrated Ethernet can sometimes have some issue with too low values (like packet loss or cpu overhead).

Worth also trying a NetAdapterCx type driver (which doesn’t let you set buffers) lots of people reported that it is working better for them compared to a more traditional NDIS type driver.

And hello to everyone again! I'll say it again that I use a translator, so don't pay attention to mistakes. I want to thank the author of this post, from the bottom of my heart, brother, for such an idea about this adapter. Before that, just the other day, I bought an intel server network card, but there was no effect, but now I took this adapter and so far I am very satisfied. The flight is still normal , I went in this morning before work to check with ghub , set 800 dpi , and the game has 1.4 sens, and I'll say that the mouse is sharp as it should be, I didn't have to set 2+ before , I constantly changed , everything floated , the desire to play disappeared, I've been on this forum for a very long time and you can say I 've already reread all the posts , I 've already redone a lot of everything , and replacing PCs and monitors and mice and power supplies , carpets , and disconnected the ground , well , nothing helped , but your method helped, of course I understand that everything can come back , well , for 3-4 days now it 's been normal , play I even want to get knocked up on Facebook , otherwise there are a lot of inadequate and cheaters in the premier . Of course, I still don't understand why this method affected mouse control so much, but I'm very happy. I will play with the settings to bring them to perfection . Below I want to attach a screenshot of the adapter settings, which the gpt chat advises me to do. If anyone has any other settings regarding the cs2 game, I would appreciate it, thanks again. By the way, my specifications are : i5-10600k ,3060ti,mx 1200 power supply, msi 300 Hz monitor

I can't say that the translator translated everything correctly. The first mistake was that I meant to play on faceit. The second mistake was that the micro-tuning wasn't perfect, but it was still possible to play

Have you disabled the built-in network card in the BIOS settings?

I have everything set to default in my BIOS, as I want to play Faceit. The network is enabled, but it doesn't interfere, and the game behaves well, although the FPS is low

Glad to hear it's been working for you so far, and yes before anyone says otherwise, this is a real issue.

Some Ethernet are integrated so poorly in some motherboard that using an external USB Type-C to Ethernet usually bypass the poor implementation. So this can definitely fix some issues for some people, I myself also saw great improvements on some motherboard using this method.

First poster that discovered the fix for this issue is u/6yToFindTheAnswer in this topic : viewtopic.php?t=10624 it has 200+ post with 20 pages of users sharing positive feedback on this method.

I bought a different type-c network adapter before, but it didn't change anything.

Hello,

Was your issues previously just input lag related, or was it feeling behind the server in games?

I've tried various ethernet/wifi adapters before, never a usb-c one though. Just want to make sure before I buy anything.

I have issues with feeling behind the server in all games, and it's always constant.

Hello, just try to buy the same adapter and try what the author said, it costs $ 10, a mere penny, I'm not sure it will help you, but I tried a lot of things and gave so much money that it was easier to buy a car. The type-c adapter didn't help me, the pci e intel server network card didn't solve anything either. And there's some kind of miracle with this adapter. Previously, it wasn't impossible to play at all, the mouse controls were terrible, the picture was dim, it didn't register hits, weak enemies or newcomers simply destroyed me like a bot, the creepy floater was shorter. I've already uploaded a video of my game with this problem somewhere, and everything was visible there. I can tell when things are good and when they are bad. I've only been playing counter-strike for a very long time. In cs 1.6, I played on bhop, surf, and hns servers for several years. I just wanted to say that I know exactly how a mouse should behave.
