I have a question for those who have tried Online-UPS

Hello, has anyone who previously used an Online-UPS experienced a reduction in input lag issues? I know that Online-UPS is not a complete solution since it still converts the same problematic grid electricity, but has anyone noticed a decrease in the issue? I’m planning to buy an Online-UPS soon in the hope that it might reduce the problem, and I’m curious about your experiences. Thanks.

Don't get it, it's not going to solve anything and it's a waste of cash. If you do, buy it new and just send it back

I bought one about two months ago; it solved the problem for about an hour, then it came back. Don't buy it; it's a waste of money with this issue. I think connecting a ground with low resistance is a better option.

so with the Salicru SLC Twin PRO 2 UPS I had improvements,but did not fully solve the latency increase over time, I also noted other improvements,for example:

1.picture quality increased,in-game everything is much sharper.
2.demanding games stopped randomly crashing with TDR errors on a week old new PC (issue ocurred on my older system aswell)
3.my nvme that had been stuck in x2 mode for weeks was functioning again at x4 speed when the UPS was connected, I shipped the UPS back because I needed a unit with more wattage, and the nvme is back to x2 mode.. so something is going on here and the ups definitely helped in some way.

after an hour in-game everything gets heavy and delayed, unplugging the ups from the wall instantly removed this delay, so I'm pretty sure the issue would be solved on a lifepo4 battery.

Actually, these are the kind of answers I was looking for, thank you. I was considering buying the FSP Champ 1K Online UPS not to solve the problem completely but to reduce it. However, if the power comes back after 1 hour, it doesn’t make much sense, so I might give up on trying this

I can comfirmed this, but not with the online UPS, I tried an offline one, charged it to maximum battery then unplugged this, playing off grid and my input lag completely disappeared. I played like a pro for 5 minutes until the UPS battery ran out of power.

I have an Online UPS sitting in my closet collecting dust. It had a drastic change on my aim feel but something still felt quite off about it. And the odd thing is I could go in the settings of the UPS and change various settings that would all result in a drastically different aim feel but nothing felt all that great... it seemed I was just "manipulating" the aim feel from feeling terrible to feeling just okay-ish but I could still tell it wasn't quite right.

All the Online UPS really did was confirm to me that my issue was indeed electricity related.

I then got myself a Medical Grade Isolation Transformer and that did solve my issues. A "set it and forget it" type solution, no messing about with settings and all that nonsense I had to go through with the Online UPS.

They are ridiculously heavy though so keep that in mind if you would want to try one and return it afterwards if it didn't help you.

My particular model I bought is the MD-2000-U from Triad Magnetics but there are many models available from various manufacturers.

ups with double conversion + toroidal transformer (virtual ground counter on real isolated ground), doesnt fix issue.
