not trying to argue, but from your youtube comments and posts here it looks like you're mad im not giving you one instant toggle. i cant ignore that for me the problem started with a mobo change. same cpu gen, different chipset and bios. that rules out "this board sucks at ram, buy another one" answers and psu experiments too.
thats also why i stopped chasing voltage tweaks and auto to fixed conversions. setting vsoc/vddio to fixed might stabilize something but it doesnt touch what i actually think is going on. what im looking into now is the event chain itself. how an input travels through firmware handlers before it reaches the os, and what interrupts the cpu along the way. thats a firmware timing question, not a voltage one. how fast firmware reacts to an event and how fast it hands control back. if firmware sits in smm for even a few dozen μs at irregular intervals, no ram tuning fixes that.
i know smi isnt something most people here deal with and im not presenting this as "heres your fucking fix". its a theory based on facts and what im sharing are bios tokens that could reduce smi frequency or shorten smm time. asking people to try and post back, not claiming i solved anything altrough from my subjective perception it runs perfect now and may be delusional again and even if emi was a real problem on your end, you still cant ignore smi. its NOT OPTIONAL. its a real thing that steals cpu time and the os literally cant see it happening. I will posts as much bios tokens i can , as much regedit or driver stuff i can because in my opinion it's that kind of issue and its clearly voluntary to test this things. We chase two different ghosts.

Sorry if it sounded like I wanted to pick a fight of course I didn't, I just want to solve the problem too. As you can see, I've been a forum member for quite a while, since 2022, but this issue existed even before that. For me, it started around 2019–2020. That said, I really respect that you're the kind of person who actually dives into topics like this no one else did. Naturally, if you suggest something useful, I'll try it out. I'm looking for a fix for this floaty mouse movement it's honestly unbelievable that I move the mouse and it stops somewhere else, I constantly overshoot, and it just doesn't feel crisp/snappy.

okey men, just try to not loose faith and patience , paying for high end hardware and ending up with crippled performance sucks , despite bios visible settings there is also config space settings for pch/fch and i will take a look on that.

I read the topic, but I still didn't understand why this needs to be done. If something isn't working for you as it should and input lag somehow accumulates literally during a match (lol, I know how this happens, when I faced this in 2012 I thought I was the only one) - there is no point in changing some settings, because you decided that the matter is in the motherboard. Literally nobody knows about these settings and does this. You can just go to Twitch or YouTube, find a player in any game you know from the top ladder and buy all the components 1 to 1 down to the mouse (motherboard in the first place).And I assure you - this will not help. So what is the matter, if you buy components like a cyberathlete, but for you everything still does not work?And I assure you many of them do not configure anything, and those who configure - share this in the signature of their channels. You can literally buy the same computer as this guy and buy the same tuning service as him. So what is the matter?

And i just dont understand posts about whining and complaining and not willing to try settings yet still experiencing same problem (i guess). Settings i post are either explained by me or you can get documentation to them on internet or use ai to find even more documentation and provide explanation. The only message your post containts is "i have this issue almost long as you but why do u even try?" so what do you want from me then? As you said, input lag accumulates literally during a match. that alone tells you its not just "buy the same pc as pro X". accumulation over minutes means something in the system is drifting or getting called more often as the session goes on. bad oc, unstable ram, driver leaks, background services waking up, thermal state changing power delivery behavior, all of those are real and worth checking. and yeah smi is one more thing in that same list. Its documented, its a confirmed source of latency and jitter, and its literally the only firmware layer that runs without the os knowing. why would i ignore it just because most people never heard of it? Yeah even anti cheat can trigger smis, basically every service that needs tpm can trigger them. and every time it happens the os has no idea it just paused for however long the handler needed. thats the whole point. you cant fix what you cant see, so at least try to reduce how often it fires.

You don't have the diagnostic equipment to physically capture and log this halt.If absolutely anything can trigger this instability, why doesn't it happen to streamers or pro players? They use a huge variety of hardware (if we're talking AMD, anything from a 7500F to a 9800X3D), yet they don't face these issues. Why doesn't the scenario you are describing happen to them? Is it some kind of magic or sorcery?I'm genuinely curious: can you actually explain this, or do you have a specific theory? Why do other people with the exact same hardware and without any deep tweaking have zero issues, while you, I, people here on this forum, and thousands across the internet are suffering from them? What is the actual explanation for all of this?
