I’ve been complaining for years about having desync and hit-reg issues while gaming (e.g., in Battlefield). It’s not a network or internet issue; it’s a local problem that simply cannot be fixed.

I just tried out the Dino game, and I can clearly see it speeding up.

The interesting thing is: when I play BF6, the game runs normally at first, but minute by minute, the opponents get faster and faster. I barely have any time left to react. My window for reaction shrinks. The worst gamers in the world start playing like pros.

The Dino game fits this pattern (the problem) perfectly.

I'm not going to disprove this information but I have to add that it's a very one sided perspective you always push. If the Dino game can be used as a benchmark then I can just hop on with my patched QPC driver which makes everything extremely slow and get a highscore with that. The same way you could benchmark aim400kg with someone playing normally or another person using a color triggerbot and just having to move on the targets. PCs need optimization because there is room for them. And default Windows and browsers have so many anti-consumer elements that it sounds insane not to optimize them.

If everything runs flawlessly on a laptop with zero desync while the Secure Boot settings are hidden, then PC desync might be linked to these exact settings.Before reinstalling Windows, you need to clear the TPM keys in the system, restart, enter BIOS, and clear the TPM keys there too. Only then should you install Windows. I don't think this will fully fix the issue, but it should keep the system synchronized for a longer period of time.
