Hi All,
I just found out that there's a new mouse jitter test here on blurbusters at the following link:
https://testufo.com/mouserate
I don't really know how to interpret the results. I do care about mouse jitter and in BF6 gaming I've recently stabalised on 2000Hz mouse setting and 167fps cap on 240Hz IPS Gsync monitor as the best combo (5800x3D CPU). I did do a mouse jitter test using the new Blurbusters test that I link above, and following is the screenshot showing the result but I don't really know how to interpret it for mouse jitter?

You're looking for gaps and uneven spacing between mouse samples. Your result looks fine. Change your mouse rate to 250, 500 and 1000 to see the differences. You should start seeing gaps and/or more unevenly spaced samples. Which is not a problem with the mouse, just a result of high display Hz and low mouse polling rate.

Those gaps might be from gsync or vsync. But original poster has a really smooth and solid reading of his mouse reports. My mouse sucks too.

Thanks very much for the response. I see what you mean. There is just one spot where there is a slight break in mine when I look more carefully, and I've since then done some more screenshots that don't show that little break, so I think mine's ok even beyond the screenshot & what you've also confirmed. I've got Pulsefire Haste 2 Wired mouse - I know the wireless version of this mouse is extremely dodgy but the wired version seems like a real value win both in terms of overall low weight & good balance front to back whilst maintaining a good shape - I fingertip claw grip with heel of palm on mouse mat. 2500dpi and lower windows sensitivity to one notch below the middle and for in game fps just adjust in-game sensitivity to something like 13.5cm per 360 degrees if I remember rightly (only if I remember rightly). It's a pretty good value win that Pulsefire Haste 2 wired.RealNC wrote: ↑22 Sep 2026, 13:22You're looking for gaps and uneven spacing between mouse samples. Your result looks fine. Yours is wireless? Have you tried putting your mouse connected to a USB port collection that is not inhabited by other devices or other high throughput devices? Best to try to connect your high Hz mouse to a port that is close to the CPU and does not have many or none other high contention devices on that same hub. Device Manager helps you work it out in Windows 11. Choose "view by connection" or something along those lines and you can see which other devices share your same USB hub. Try to get your mouse on a hub close to your CPU and without much contention with other "high speed" devices on that same hub.
It could maybe be your browser too. So make sure you only have one tab open and nothing else open at the same time. Run it full screen.
