Anyone know how to enable HPET(AMD CPU) without causing massive stutters/freezes?

Hey everyone,

I’m trying to figure out if there’s a way to force-enable HPET with:

`bcdedit /set useplatformclock true`

The weird thing is that my game feels **way more responsive/snappy** with HPET forced on. Input feels noticeably better, and overall the game feels around 30x more responsive to me.

However, there’s a major downside: the game starts **freezing/stuttering every 4–5 seconds for about 1–2 seconds**, and I also get noticeably worse FPS.

Without forced HPET, the game runs smoothly with normal FPS, but it doesn’t feel nearly as responsive.

Has anyone experienced this before or know what could be causing it?

* GPU: 4080 Super
* Game: CS2
* Monitor: BenQ XL2566x+ 400hz

It stutters for me too, but much less often against bots.
