Thoughts on the Asus XG27AQDPG 1440p 500hz OLED + is DSC still an issue?

Thinking about getting the ASUS XG27AQDPG (1440p 500Hz QD-OLED). RTX 5080, mostly CS2/Valorant.

How is it overall? Anyone compared it to a WOLED?

Since it’s DP 1.4, 500Hz needs DSC. How’s your alt-tab speed? (I also play 4:3 stretched, so extra curious about that.)

Has DSC caused you any other issues?

Any workarounds that actually help?

DSC was never an issue it was ASUS's garbage firmware.

MSI never has these issues I will never buy another ASUS OLED Monitor again their firmware is the most buggy garbage same for their motherboards and GPU now aswell.

MSI is the way to go now.

I wouldn't bother buying the XG27AQDPG. The text clarity is awful and isn't worth it, I sold mine because it was unbearably bad. Even in-game, you can still see fringing around the edges of things.

Wait until the newer 1440p RGB stripe monitors come out next year.
