XL2420z problem
Hi I recently purchased the xl2420z and I tried using the strobe utility but it just won't detect my monitor. I've tried every single fix (switching ports on GPU, different cable, power cycling, reinstalling monitor driver) suggested on the instructions but to no avail. I need some guidance please

Re: XL2420z problem
Make sure that burn in mode in the factory service menu, is disabled.
Some of these monitors may have shipped with diagnostic mode enabled.
Power off the monitor.
hold down ENTER AND MENU (button 3 and 4) for five seconds. Then while still holding them down, press power.
Release all three.
IF you did this correctly, you should get a screen, but the input popup (e.g. DVI) should NOT appear at all (neither should the "Eye optical assault" logo).
Then press button 5 (Exit) to enter the factory menu. scroll down to burn in mode, and change it to "off".
(P.S. if burn in mode is on, switching to HDMI will display a test color image).
If it is ALREADY set to off, then, you may need to delete the monitor driver, reinstall the driver from the CD, then restart the video driver.
Note: enabling GPU scaling may prevent detection (this is a driver issue; devices and printers may have a yellow exclamation saying that this device needs restarting or something); toastyx's driver restarter on his custom resolution utility page can restart the driver without needing to reload windows.
