Can't install Strobe Utility

I just purchased the BenQ xl2411Z and whenever I try to install the Strobe Utility, I get the message needing Net Framework 3.5 even though I already have it installed. I currently have Windows 8.1, help?

Have you downloaded it from MS again and done a repair? I'd prefer if it was using a newer version as .net 3.5 is nothing but a PITA at least on win8+.

I have .net Framework 3.5 enabled in my Windows Features but the installer still doesn't recognize it.

Did you ever find a fix for this please? I'm experiencing the same thing, cannot install it on Windows 10 because of Netframework 3.5.

I tried a lot of workarounds, none of them worked.
