just want to know what picture/colour settings everyone has changed? just got mine and got no idea?

If it's the same as the XL2546, I don't use any of the FPS/Gamer color presettings, I just went to 'Standard' and decreased Brightness to 55% (might decrease further to 50%). It was too bright at 100%. When I would stop using it, other monitor/laptop screens felt like they were dim and my eyes were being negatively affected.

surely there is some xl2540 users on the forum who have calibrated the monitor??

What's wrong with Standard? are you asking for a ICC profile because that only really helps when you actually calibrate it yourself.

From what i've heard Standard is pretty accurate if you don't touch the contrast or anything.
