BenQ Xl2546 - Settings

Post by raphinho » 15 Dec 2017, 12:55

Hi guys,

got my new XL2546 today.
I play FPS Shooter like Overwatch and CS:GO and want to improve the gameplay as much as possible.
Some weeks ago i bought a new highend system. In Overwatch i have between 260 fps(high settings) and 300 fps(low settings).

Does someone have the XL2546 ? I need some good settings for Brightness, Contrast, Colors, AMA, DyAc, Instant Mode, etc.?
At the moment i use the "Standard"-Mode.

Is it necessesary to do the factory tweak (viewtopic.php?f=13&t=3604) ?

Would be great, if someone can share his settings.

Greetings raphinho

Until Benq stops pushing maximum response time in favor of best image clarity and quality, you will always have to do these tweaks with these Benq monitors. The original Z series monitors (AFTER firmware V2) required obscure AMA toggles with blur reduction or profile switch bugs going from blur reduction on to off (in combination with AMA toggles) to reduce that ridiculous inverse ghosting). At least be lucky you have something that isn't QUITE so annoying to work with. But the setting isn't persistent; changing resolutions will usually reset the OD Gain option.

You need to test to find what looks best to your eyes.
