I've seen the LG go for 250eur in a webshop in my country, but I did resist buying it.
The smeariness and higher input lag made it so, that I could actually play better on my old 144hz XL2411z, than on the LG.
At that time however, tftcentral hasn't confirmed the comparatively high input lag yet, and I still haven't tried the xl2740...
so I wrote the whole thing off with saying to myself "maybe I'm just not used to 27" monitors and it's a bit more smeary".

That all changed after I got the xl2740 and realised that my poor performance on the LG had nothing to do with needing to get used to bigger screen sizes or something...
Because from the first moment I hopped ingame with the xl2740, I knew I had the best, most responsive competitive gaming monitor I've tried so far in front of me. (Tied with the aw2518hf if you're okay with a smaller screen size and lack of usable black EQ.)
I was performing better with the xl2740 than ever before with any screen. (Including the CRT in my sig as well...no, I'm not sponsored by Benq lol... I know and feel the CRT's lower input lag...I'm typing this very text while staring at it, but it has disadvantages, which make it so that I can play better on a really fast LCD.... I can elaborate if you care.)

...So yes, I would still choose it.
If I have to decide between getting a monitor for cheap that'll drive me insane, and paying big bucks for one, that'll elevate my game, I know which one I'm picking.

Yeah, that's what I was afraid of. I have a feeling if the input lag of the LG is much greater than that of my current BenQ XL2720 (which I've been really happy with) that I would notice it as well. Been waiting on TFT Centrals reviews of the 240Hz LG and BenQ also. Maybe they're having so much fun "testing" (aka gaming) at 240Hz that they just haven't found time to finish writing the damn reviews...

Been trying to hold out until the full reviews come out, and hopefully the BenQ XL2740 might be on sale for cheaper by then too.

The LG's review has been up for quite some time now.
I've sent back the xl2740 and I'm waiting for a price cut as well... but, to be honest I'm really waiting for something like an xl2746 which would feature one of the new 3ms gtg base panels and DyAc. That below 500eur would be the dream.

I learned the question, this monitor does have an input lag, but almost all 240Hz models have it. The monitor has an input delay of about - + 9ms, the model is 27 inches 144Hz, the same xl2720, 2-3ms, the difference is not so large, but maybe in some revisions it can be higher about 10-25ms, it will be very noticeable, this was with xl2540, many complained about strong input lag - about 16ms, although it is used professionally in cyber sport. I'll try the 27GK750F, but I think I'll take it back.

Wasn't the problem that it only has input lag if you don't run it at 240Hz? Most input lag tests out there are done at 60Hz, I believe. Which is fine for other monitors, but not for the 240Hz ones.

I have an 23inch ips monitor iiyama X2377HDS, it has a very low input lag 4.5ms for a normal monitor.
I using the input test lag (http://tft.vanity.dk/inputlag.html it's a green timer on a black background), compared the iiyama X2377HDS and 42inch LG TV panels.
I take a photo on an iPhone with low photosensitivity, a difference of 17ms, thus 17 + ~ 4.5ms = 21.5ms, which is true for TV.
I'll try the same test with my old iiyama X2377HDS and the new LG 27GK750F monitor

Could you make an input lag test? Compare LG 27GK750F with your old 120/144Hz monitor or any other , in this site http://tft.vanity.dk
