Did i correctly set up my XL2144P?

Post by heyhottie18 » 11 Sep 2018, 21:13

Hello,i just bought the monitor XL2144P ,specs gtx 1060 6gb,ryzen 5 2600x
I never calibrated a monitor before,so correct me please if i did something wrong
I made 2 profiles,1 for general use,and 1 for gaming
First profile for general use: i edited in standard settings: gamma 5,sharpness 5,constrast 50,brightness 100,no black equilizer,no blue ,temp R 95 y 92 B 100,Vibrance 10,Nvidia vibrance 75%.After i saved the settings in Gamer1. After,i downloaded an iCC profile from XL2420T and installed it
Second profile is for gaming,mostly FPS games: edited settings in FPS1,then saved to gamer2: Gamma grayed out(could not change it),sharpness 7,black equalizer 15,contrast 50,brightness 100,blur reduction on,temp i dont know if i should use 100 100 100 or R 95 Y92 B100,rest standard.

Regarding blur reduction,after i did this,i installed strobe utility,and tried to play with the settings,but i dont know which settings are the best for low input lag
Persistence=?
Crosstalk=?
I am mainly interested in pure smooth gameplay,less on blur reduction(not totally ignoring it,just not my top priority)

So,did i do something wrong? any suggestions to improve the settings ?
And lastly,but not the least,values for Persistence and Crosstalk for smooth gameplay(low input lag) with somewhat blur reduction?
I`m sorry for the long post,hopefully someone has the patience to help a newbie out :D
