Hi,
i've noticed a weird flickering at the top of the screen in most games.
I have a 1080ti and an asus pg348q
The only way I found to make that disappear is to turn on fast sync but then I have stuttering in game so it's obviously not a good solution.
Does someone else has this issue? How to solve it?
I set up the parameters as told on that page : https://www.blurbusters.com/gsync/gsync ... -settings/
Vsync ON in NVCP
GSync full screen
RTSS at 97 fps (monitor refresh rate-3)
Thanks a lot for the help

I left you a reply in my article's comment section earlier, but I'm also updating here to let you know the flickering appears to be an issue others have experienced with your model.

Re: Top of screen flickers in games
Ah damn and there is nothing to do? Apparently if I turn of vsync completely it's better. Will try to out at 95hz maybe..
Re: Top of screen flickers in games
If the flicker on that monitor disappears with G-SYNC disabled, then it's probably the VRR (variable refresh rate) causing that specific panel to react as it does.
And if it isn't a fault with that model, but expected behavior (short of sharing those links with you, I didn't look into it too deeply myself, so not sure), then it's going to happen with G-SYNC enabled, whether that be a certain Hz range, what have you.
So yes, if other owners say 95Hz may help with the flickering at the top of the screen, you could give that a try; the 5Hz difference at that high of a refresh rate (95Hz with -3 FPS limit [92 FPS] vs. 100Hz with -3 FPS limit [97 FPS]) is effectively imperceivable anyway.

Re: Top of screen flickers in games
Should i put the FPS limit at 92 then?
Re: Top of screen flickers in games
If you set the monitor's max refresh rate to 95Hz, yes, 92 FPS; the suggest -3 FPS limit always scales with the given max refresh rate.

Re: Top of screen flickers in games
Seems that fixing the refresh at 95, rtss at 92 fixed the flickering but i'll do more tests
Edit : hm apparently not . grrr
