Having trouble getting 144 hz on my BenQ2411Z
Having trouble getting 144 hz on my BenQ2411Z
Just bought a new GPU (RTX Windforce 2070) and it does not have a DVI Input on the card only DisplayPort and HDMI. Do I need a converter from Display to Dual Link DVI or will a HDMI or DisplayPort Cable that supports 144hz work? (If so which ones) Thanks.
Re: Having trouble getting 144 hz on my BenQ2411Z
AFAIK, the BenQ 2411Z only supports 60Hz with HDMI. So it seems you need a DisplayPort to Dual DVI adapter.
However, wait to see if someone else here knows better than me, because these adapters are not very cheap. Active adapters are rather expensive, and I don't really know if you'd need an active or a passive one.

Just to add on does anyone know if the xl2411p has displayport at 144hz. My brother has one but he got a DVI cable with his but I look online and it seems like DisplayPort @ 144 should work. Thinking of just swapping the two monitors.
Re: Having trouble getting 144 hz on my BenQ2411Z
The specs advertise DisplayPort 1.2, so yes. It should support 144Hz.
