I think I might have had the same problem with Asus VG248QZ viewtopic.php?f=8&t=4716
Does this "test result" show frame skipping? Meaning it's not actually running 144hz?

Yes, you conducted the teat correctly.
Yes, the monitor is frameskipping.
There is currently a known firmware bug in the AUSU VG248QZ. (This also afflicted early shipments of certain AOC monitors too). We have to see how ASUS responds to this, to fix this firmware bug.

Does the CRU workaround to stop the frame skipping work though?

Re: ASUS VG248QZ - Frame Skipping
That fixes the "232-out-of-240" frameskipping in the 240Hz monitors that had the frameskipping issue, but not the "60-out-of-144" frameskipping that has happened before on the AOC G2460PQU -- which now seems to be afflicting the VG248QZ.RealNC wrote:Does the CRU workaround to stop the frame skipping work though?

Re: ASUS VG248QZ - Frame Skipping
Sorry for not responding. After 2 broken ones I gave up, and bought AW2518HF which one has own issues but still it's 10 times better than fake 144 Hz.QOPTOP wrote:Hey guys i was about to get this monitor but fortunately got to find this thread so OP did you manage to get a fix or should i avoid this monitor @Hazu
Re: ASUS VG248QZ - Frame Skipping
Anyone did that? What they do to solve the issue? Do they really solve it?mal1na707 wrote:https://www.asus.com/ru/support/FAQ/1038260/
write a message to asus to send you new software..
Re: ASUS VG248QZ - Frame Skipping
I tried to contact support and ask for that software. Guy from support is completely ignoring my problem after waiting for answer for 4 days, support guy asked about my resolution and how you see that the monitor is not performing as it should. Then i responded and he kept answering some stupid shit, then i asked it again and even linked their thread, he still just kept some stupid shit like that i should return the screen, which in my case is not even possible. After last time i asked support guy just close the thread and my monitor is still underperforming.DrHouse wrote:Anyone did that? What they do to solve the issue?
