Strobe Crosstalk XL2546

Post by Rom138 » 20 Feb 2019, 09:52

Hello,

I have try to adjust manually Strobe Crosstalk at 182Hz on my XL2546.

how explain here --> https://www.blurbusters.com/faq/advance ... stalk-faq/

I play essentially Fortnite and my resolution is 1680 x 1050. I try to put the Large Vertical Total at 1584 in a custom resolution in Nividia control Panel. But when I start to play Fortnite the resolution change to the default 1680 x 1050 in Nvidia. I don't know why ? is it 1584 to much for my current resolution ?

I try this too --> viewtopic.php?f=13&t=3604 is it better than the the Large Vertical Total tweak ?

Perhaps some people have the best settings for the XL2546 in a game like Fortnite ?

thanks you.

Have a good day.

Combining odd resolutions with Large Vertical Totals are extremely unreliable with NVIDIA Control Panel. Try using ToastyX CRU and see if it works better.

I cannot really gurantee that Large Vertical Totals work reliably with non-native resolutions. It's very monitor-specific how well they behave with that.

Hello,

thanks for your answer. It's work know. I have to check "override scaling mode set by games and programs". But I don't know if it's really work with stretch resolution.

Is this "override scaling mode set by games and programs" had input lag or not ? Not every people have the same answer about this.

try this:

Press Windows key + R and then type " %appdata% " into the box

Next goto the Local folder and then locate FortniteGame

Then >Saved > Config > WindowsClient > GameUserSettings.ini

Find ResolutionSizeX+Y & LastUserConfirmedResolutionX+Y

enter your resolution there and save the file. now right click on the file and open properties.
check "read only".

Then in nvidia settings check "override scaling mode set by games and programs" setting and make sure it is on fullscreen.

launch the game. see if it works. (keep in mind, because you made the file read only, any settings you change in game after that will not be saved.) Good luck
