The problem with ASUS XG248Q

The problem with ASUS XG248Q

I've been using this monitor for 2 months and recently I discovered a weird bug. And I want to know if any of the owners of this display has it as well.
When I load a profile that includes ELMB "on" twice in a row it changes colors. They kinda become brighter or more contrast, though all the settings remain the same. Especially it's perceptible with light colors as they become indistinguishable. The profile also has both brightness and contrast set on 100 if it matters, FPS mode. ASCR is off and I even turned off DDC/CI (it didn't change anything). Please, whoever has this monitor make a quick test and reply if you have the same issue. ASUS support told me they never heard about this problem and suggested me apply to service center. I wouldn't like to do that...

Hi,
I also faced the same issue with mine but when i contacted ASUS supported they acknowledged the problem and as I asked for a replacement, they said they would send someone for a pickup and replacement but till date i havent been contacted by them. Shame that they cant even keep a promise.

Hope you dont go through the same hassle.
