GSync cap question

Hey,

I can OC my XB241H to 180hz if i want to but i got the idea to OC it to 170 & use the ingame cap of 165 in Fortnite
Will this work good with GSync?

OC Refreshrate to: 170 hz
Cap ingame FPS: 165 FPS

Any FPS cap below the refresh rate works well with G-SYNC, so yes.
