When can we expect reasonably price Freesync 2 monitors based off this panel? I've been on 1080p 144hz for years now and want to upgrade soon but i don't want to pay the Nvidia tax.

what's the hype about 1440p 240hz? 1080p 240hz is hard enough to achieve as it is unless I'm missing something.

Yes, many 1440p monitors can be run at 720p and 1080p too.

There are many esports players that run their 1080p monitors at lower resolution anyway, so it's not different. 1440p will look better quality for downconversion tasks than 1080p, so that's another advantage. Assuming the panel can use the lagless-method of scaling (linebuffered scaling or realtime scaling, not framebuffered scaling).

Another monitor that vanishes off the planet. God the display industry sucks.

Would like to see a 24 inch one from Benq with all of their features, and usual low input lag.
1440p on 24" would look sharp AF...couple that with 240hz and lower response times than ever... gosh

1440p on 24 inches is simply amazing. Thats why the Dell S2417 165hz 23,8 1440p is so special. Such a great monitor.

See that and the whole I can see the whole screen at a comfortable distance is why I wish more oems would embrace stuff like the 22 to 24" 1440p screens instead of 27"

Yes, I've been looking at that thing for quite some time, but after trying both Alienware 240hz monitors, and many Benq ones, I definitely prefer Benq for it's great features for competitive FPS gaming.
(Plus their stands are awesome... and I also like their Overdrive implementation better...)
Also, I'm too used to 240hz at this point :D

x2 I hate the fact industry is pushing for bigger and bigger screens... I don´t want cinema screens on my desk. Love small screens with good PPI, they are simply amazing.

Yes is very hard to go back to lower refresh rates if you use 240hz 24/7 for some time, I can confirm :D When I gave up on 240hz in the past, the trick I did was using 60hz/75hz for 2 weeks again, everyday, and sticking with it. Then when I changed to 144hz it felt incredible smooth again. Our brain is tricky ;)
