I often do not clearly state my thoughts. google translate is far from perfect. And in addition to the translator, I myself am mistaken. Do not take me seriously.

Whoa, it finally started listing... if only in Hong Kong. Now if the thing could come to Canada already, I've been waiting for this monitor for almost a year now!

This store is known for overpricing everything by at least 20%. Should be around $1000-1100. It's 899 quid in the UK Image

That's a crazy price for a monitor where to sustain 200fps+ everyone needs to lower resolution anyway.... Pointless imo

I went through the thread (that you started, ironically) and you've already stated 3 times that you feel that the monitor isn't for you. However some of us run games with high end computers (5ghz - 2080 TI) specs that can easily max out the 240hz at 2560x.

Not to mention Nvidia's next gen card is going to eventually come out (replacing the 2080ti) which should make things even easier to sustain 240fps+

So you think a 2080ti (20% faster than my GPU) sustains 200fps+ at 1440p? Lol

Plus at 1440p the effects of 240hz are reduced as you have more pixels creating blur. And the mouse behaviour/aiming at 1440p also very different and not ideal for competitive games.

I can give my opinions, this is a forum. There is no way to run 90% of the modern titles at native 1440p 200fps+ with a 2080ti

I have those specs but even at 1080p there's literally only a few games that can hit 240fps consistently.

I heard something similar when I bought xl2730z + fury x. in 2016-2017.

Well, eventually there will exist GPUs capable of 200fps+ 1440p across a lot of titles, but that will take some time, at least 1 year, being optimistic (with a 3080ti maybe?), as it needs to be at least 50% better than the 2080ti (I highly doubt it). And the thing is, we can have the argument of a "future proof" monitor, but by the time you can actually reach 200fps 1440p consistently, there will be more 240hz 1440p monitor models available and you will have more options and make a better decision, also for a lower price for sure.

At least that´s my way of thinking. I wouldn´t buy a 1440p 240hz monitor to end up playing at 1080p or 66% res scale, that would break the purpose.

Even a 1080p 240hz monitor + secondary 1440p IPS/VA 165hz screen would be cheaper than a single 1440p 240hz unit that costs 1100€
