BenQ UNIVERSAL 144Hz->220Hz OVERCLOCK for 1080p 144 Hz

Talk about overclocking displays at a higher refresh rate. This includes homebrew, 165Hz, QNIX, Catleap, Overlord Tempest, SEIKI displays, certain HDTVs, and other overclockable displays.

how i do this (except drag from primary after where they opened)-> *Launch SoftMCCS and Nvidia onto 2nd monitor
Move NVIDIA CP to the 2nd monitor, and try to create a custom resolution <144Hz, and press Test. Then you will see where the "Yes" prompt appears without your XL2411Z going out of range.
urut wrote: In my case csgo fullscreen works when i created cru resolution but with 1 pixel hiigher than its normal. I play csgo on 1280x1024 so i created in cru 1280x1025 (yes, 1025) and set it on desktop on 210hz, then launch csgo and its working, mat info showing 1280x1025 @ 210hz. Try it maybe.
I tried 1920x1081 and 1920x1079, nothing changed. Can't be bothered to do more testing, just hoping for the app to come out in the near future. It's pretty cool that CSGO accepts -freq/-refresh launch parameter, that way you can keep the desktop at 144Hz and only use the overclock while in CSGO.

I've created 200hz resolution after all. Still grey and i can't activate anything. I've tried to reinstall, same issue.

Okay then perhaps it's due to a too old monitor firmware.

try maybe lower resolution, in my case 1920x1079 not workin too but 1280x1025 works, dunno why.

Try it maybe just for test, timings:

Horizontal : 24,32,80,136,1416 +
Vertiical : 3,5,61,69,1094 +

Refreshrate 210hz, Pixel clock 325.32

hello!
on xl2411z via dvi:
working at 165hz and 180hz
200hz = pixels appear in desktop (non stable)

i use nvidia control panel with auto sync
please give correct value for 1920x1080 (165, 180, 200hz) or it safe to use auto sync?
Front porch: ?/?
Sync width: ?/?
Total Pixels: ?/?

I used the values provided by Chief in the 1st post, and my XL2411Z DVI works with 210Hz, 200Hz, 165Hz, etc.

I coded a little app for personal use (fullscreen CSGO at overclocked refresh rate). You can see the code and download the binary here:
https://github.com/hleVqq/AntiOutOfRange

Upon launch, it automatically detects your current OSD language (0xCC) and Color profile (0xDC) monitor settings, and re-applies those settings after X amount of seconds:

so other profiles will fork? for example FPS1 from xl2411z ? i will test it

#EDIT

Ye it works, thanks you so much :)

Made a different version called "OOR Fixer":
https://github.com/hleVqq/AntiOutOfRange/tree/OorFixer

It will stay in the background - didn't implement any tray icons so if you want to turn it off, do it via Task Manager. If you want it to be auto-launched with Windows, move OorFixer.exe to %ProgramData%\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\StartUp.

It auto-detects monitor event where refresh rate changes or it goes fullscreen (WM_DISPLAYCHANGE event) and if refresh rate is >144Hz, re-applies OSD Language (0xCC) and Display Mode (0xDC) settings that were detected upon launching OOR Fixer. I adjusted the timings to the following: 2500ms after display change event, set OSD Language ("Out of Range" notification fix), after another 250ms apply Display Mode (black screen fix). This works ideally on my XL2411Z DVI, but on other monitors the timing may not match.

Sorry for the lack of features, I'm not a real programmer, just wanted this done for personal use.
