I often do not clearly state my thoughts. google translate is far from perfect. And in addition to the translator, I myself am mistaken. Do not take me seriously.

Interesting. I couldn't find it on the US HP webstore, was one of the first places I checked.

Heres where I got confused about the 4NK94AA, according to the HP website it's not a .5ms model. It's a 1ms model. The 4WH47AA is also listed as a 1ms monitor on the HP website.

Ah there is a special Omen store I didn't see. Also didn't pop up in Chrome when I googled it.

That's $20 cheaper then the store is showing for me.

This monitor is now on sale at best buy for $329. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/hp-omen-x- ... Id=6347504

I picked it up yesterday (this is my first 240hz monitor) and so far I'm amazed. I'll try and post a full review down the line.

Wow that's better than my price at the private HP store. So having put a bunch more hours on this monitor I can update my subjective experience - I can't match or even attempt to match Rtings scientific testing.

Also as a reference I was using a BenQ 144hz for 2 years, then overclocked it to 215hz for a few weeks and then got this monitor. Shockingly there is a big difference between even the BenQ overclocked at 215 and this monitor. Just playing Overwatch my stats are definitely better, weapon accuracy, direct hits, etc after about 30 hours of play. My accuracy per game with Pharah is generally about 43% over multiple seasons, now its 53% - yesterday I had one game at 61%. The only change for me is the monitor.

Yesterday did some sniper and I can tell a big difference with just a few games.

The colors are better than the BenQ but honestly I haven't really done anything other than load the icc profile from the rtings review. I also really like the joystick gui controller on the back.

The only negative for some people might be the stand is not super adjustable, but I set it and forget it so it wasn't a big deal for me.

All in all I am very happy with it, at least for me its a killer upgrade and att $329 its just crazy cheap.

We were all waiting for the 240hz masterpiece model as we already had 2 or 3 masterpieces on 144hz department.

Seems the wait is over :)

Seems like a lot of people on here just buy based on your recommendation, even though you don't actually have the monitor yet.

I've looked over the RTings website and they don't list the panel. The HP website lists this as a 1ms monitor, so I assume it's not using the new AUO panel. It's very difficult to compare reviews between TFT and Rtings till they have some overlap, so there is no way of knowing how this matches up against something like the XF252Q. Subjective experiences here are positive, but people buy something new > always better then what they had. Bias in general.

It's the fastest, clearest/cleanest, monitor ever tested by rtings.com, with no game-braking flaws, and on sale for $329 and a B&M store. As someone who was in the market for their first 240hz montior, I think the choice right now is quite clear.

They've tested *2* 240hz monitors. Considering most bleeding edge gaming displays are in the 240hz category, that's not much to go on.

This is the part I'm not quite sure on, it looks like they only test black/white transition times, unlike TFT which tests color to color transition times. Putting aside specific methodology such as overhead which Notty mentioned, it doesn't even look like their response time tests are similar in nature. Color to color transitions can completely change response times, even going in the opposite direction will produce different results.
