Has anybody seen this video from hardware unboxed? Several of the games they tested for their video on radeon's anti lag technology showed results where vsync had superior latency to freesync, and in some cases to vsync off..

The only thing that I could come up with in games like metro they are likely rendering framerates below the monitors refresh rate. That doesn't explain the results for rainbow six at 1080 p though, or even fortnite at 4k which should be able to render 4k at 60 fps.
