What's the price difference? They seem really close/similar in terms of the input lagboxszs wrote:This or the XL2540?

Have you done any testing of the "black boost" feature in the osd settings that allows you to choose values from 1 to 10.masneb wrote:Based on initial subjective reviews I've pulled the trigger as well. The one Amazon review only complains about a missing DP cable (lol). Will post experience compared to my PG258Q.
If you or anyone can test the feature on games with dark area's and see if it helps brighten up the area well without over brightening the whole screen. I read setting it on 2 or 3 is the best balance.
Any photos with it off and on on the same area would also be great to see the difference.
cheers.

Price does not matter. I need the fastest.

I have a stuck red pixel in the bottom right corner of my monitor. Only shows up when the screen displays certain colors. Isn't stuck on all the time. Weird. And it goes back, will be reordering a new one.
Edit: Shows up at about 20% grey, not in a RGB test.

U sure the monitor has 240hz ULMB? The manual gives 144hz as the max. https://www.acer-us.com/7974_3_XF252Q/boon wrote:Just bought it. I really wanted the 240hz ULMB, and it was in my price range. Upgrading from a 120hz Benq xl2410t, so I don't have much experience with high refresh rate nor Motion blur reduction.

Re: XF252Q Up on Amazon!
I'm also torn between buying Zowie XL2546 with the 240hz dyac strobe and the blurbuster utility, and this one (Acer Nitro XF2 XF252QXbmiiprzx)
The price difference is 100 Euro here in Germany 490 for The BenQ and 390 for the Acer.
The price is likely to fall in the coming months by like 50 EUR at least but I'm not sure it's worth waiting for.
Can you guys give me some advice on which one to go for.
Thank you in advance.

Blur Busters Strobe Utility benefits 144Hz BenQ ZOWIEs much more than 240Hz BenQ ZOWIEs, since there is a point of diminishing-returns.
However, the 240Hz BenQs have various other benefits that you might be interested in, and the BenQs are adjustable-MPRT monitors capable of being adjusted from between approximately ~0.25ms persistence MPRT thru 2.0ms persistence MPRT. On strobed displays, MPRT can be adjustable via adjustable pulse width.

Does it mean, that if i want to go for the best image clarity at 240HZ (like I've been doing with my BenQ XL2420T with 10% brightness strobe utility), going for the Zowie Monitor is the better option?
Also, i would be buying it from german amazon here
Will the "?tag=blurbust-20" work there?
