240Hz monitor input lag?

Ask about motion blur reduction in gaming monitors. Includes ULMB (Ultra Low Motion Blur), NVIDIA LightBoost, ASUS ELMB, BenQ/Zowie DyAc, Turbo240, ToastyX Strobelight, etc.

240Hz monitor input lag?

Hi, Ive been using my XL2411Z with blur reduction and AMA disabled because I found it did add a slightly noticeable amount of lag, and I find my CRT still has a slight edge over the LCD.
Is it correct the XL2411Z is still among the lowest input lag for an LCD?

I was interested in a new 240Hz monitor, but apparently these have some additional lag, which if true defeats some of the purpose of 240Hz...
I was hoping display lag would be reduced further for these 240Hz monitors but I guess with 100 extra frames to process even matching the same latency is difficult.
