hey dears
:D I have spent time to fix my monitor Asus PG258 g sync " 240 hz>> (time response, its not 1 ms) ,but here i'am looking for gentlemen help me with this issue, as known the Asus pg 258 its 1 ms but in fortnite i see using RTSS ,its about or more of 4.2 Ms with 237 caped fps , apex 9.3 Ms uncapped fps 109 (image linked down)

i have used g sync on and off same with vsync on and off, but still same ! , what should i do my dears ^^

my PC specification is :
CPU I9 9900k , adaptive overclocking 5.00

The linked images don't work for me. But I can clarify your problem anyway.

I'm pretty sure that you confuse response time and frame latency here. What you see in Fortnite and other games is just the time it takes to render your frames, nothing affected by your monitor.

To improve the Monitor's response time you need to check the On-Screen-Display of your Monitor and look for Overdrive settings. If you want to improve the frame latency you saw with RTSS you will need to have higher FPS, ideally 240 with your Monitor.

Hope this helps! ;)

^ @coyotewolf6, you're confusing "frametime" with pixel response time (GtG: gray-to-gray transitions).

240 FPS has a frametime of 4.2ms. 1ms frametime would be 1000 FPS.

The "1ms" number you speak of is your monitor's reported average GtG, which is how fast pixels transition from one shade and/or color to the other. This number only has an effect on the native motion blur of your monitor, and, as "Rowdy" stated, is adjustable via the overdrive presets in your monitor's OSD.

It has nothing to do with frametime, which is what you're RTSS readout is showing.

thanks for you and Rowdy ,
i have learned from u so much
Do you mean i should unlimited the frame rate time , put the resolution lower , and in monitor OD in normal ? will help to get G2G 1ms
will i get input lag if i do it ?

learning from u dears :? :? xx

   don't be mad if i did not get it well .
will this help

coyotewolf6,

monitor OD = GtG 1ms
RTSS = frametime

They are two separate numbers. RTSS isn't showing you GtG readout, it's showing you frametime readout.

If you want the absolute lowest delay, G-SYNC OFF, V-SYNC OFF, uncapped framerate, and lowest in-game graphics settings for highest possible framerate.

You could also experiment with max pre-rendered frames in the Nvidia control panel, which is now called "Low Latency Mode." Try "On" or "Ultra."
