Monitor advice

Post by turned961 » 17 Sep 2019, 15:08

My main game is CSGO (8000+ hours) and sometimes i play lol but i'm mostly playing cs. Which monitor should I buy? Budget: $550

specs: i7-4790k and GTX970
I have 350+ fps on cs every resolution(all low)

I've used xl2411z before but the colors were very bad and i sold it.
I was undecided between the BenQ XL2546 and the asus vg248qe.
I'm not sure 144 or 240. I have no fps problems on cs. Always 240+ in fights or normal

I'm kind of in the same situation. My advice would be to get one of the newer 240hz panels. Personally, I'm mainly looking at the xf252q.

Yeah but that's a older 240hz monitor. I'm sure it's still a good monitor for gaming but If I were you, I would get maybe the xf252q

You will likely get the same colors out of the box. I've owned many benq 144hz models and xl2540 (240hz) has similar acid colors by default preset FPS1. Btw xl2540's panel has better colors representation ability since it's newer model Or may be I got good sample.
