Hello, I'm new here. I was comparing some 240Hz monitors and I found this one here:

0.3ms!
Anyone tested it?

How is colour temp and gamma, subjectively? Once set to the best OSD mode, of course.kronos wrote:Here it is:

At how high a hz can this monitor do strobing?
Re: Acer Predator XN253QXbmiprzx
I want to buy this monitor if it's using the new generation of 0.5ms 240hz panel. I've been waiting a long time for Asus or Acer to release a proper one with actual GSYNC at 24.5" screen size. I'm hoping this will be a true successor to the Acer XB252Q/Asus PG258Q screens with straight up faster response times across the board, if so it's a buy for me.
It would be awesome if its response times were basically the same as its sister the recently released Acer XF252Q.
On that note, does anyone actually know with 100% accuracy that this screen is indeed using the new panel type or is it just a refresh of the old panel?
Thank you!

This is the XB252Q:

And the XN253QX:
http://www.panelook.com/M250HTN01.9_...iew_39919.html
There is a difference in pixel response, with the XB252Q and other similar models such as the PG258Q being 3.8ms typical, while the newer panel is 2.4ms typical. So these newer models are almost 40% faster in pixel response. This jives with what tftcentral recorded for the XF252Q being 2.6ms. I did a side by side and you can see some improvement with slightly less trails in UFO test.
Now the other difference, the new panel shows "Antiglare (Haze 25%)" for the surface, whereas the old panel does not have this haze. I assume this is what I am disliking about the look of this monitor, looks kind of grainy due to this coating.

Re: Acer Predator XN253QXbmiprzx
Do you guys think that there might be an advantage of going for 144 Hz version of this monitor instead of 240 Hz? Would 144 Hz provide less strobe cross talk at 144 FPS? viewtopic.php?f=2&t=5823

Re: Acer Predator XN253QXbmiprzx
I'm interested in the 144hz Version of this monitor (XN253QP). I read now different statements if the monitor has already the new panels or not. Does someone have an obliging answer to this?
Thanks in advance.
