Hello everyone, how are you? I already apologize for my English.
I've been playing a lot of Fortnite championships and I've been having some problems.
My setup is:
Ryzen 7 3700x + RTX 2070 Galax + 2x8gb ram 3000mhz and an Alienware 240hz Freesync.
At the end of each competitive match, there are many live players in a very short space of the map, ie FPS fluctuates absurdly even to have the highest end PC that can exist.
In normal matches and until the beginning and mid game of the competitive, where the play is spread and the safe is big, I can keep 237 fps quietly (using gsync + vsync on the nvidia panel), but the end game is the problem.
So I thought, if I set my Alienware 240hz to 180hz in the nvidia panel (would that be the best way?) In custom resolution options (should I just put 180hz full hd, or something else?) And limit 177fps in the game and keep using Would Gsync + Vsync ON on the nvidia dashboard be the best solution for competitive games?
Or simply can I leave my monitor at 240hz on the nvidia panel and limit only 180fps in the game?
What would be the best solution for my case?
Thank you all!!!

Never lower your maximum physical refresh rate, especially with G-SYNC; The more you lower it, the slower frame delivery will be, even at the same FPS.Caronizeeee wrote: ↑22 Dec 2019, 01:26So I thought, if I set my Alienware 240hz to 180hz in the nvidia panel (would that be the best way?) I will limit my FPS to 180 in the game, but keep leaving Gsync ON + Vsync ON + Low Latency ON? Or turn it off?
Thanks

Low Latency Mode "On" with that configuration is fine.

Gsync + Vsync on the nvidia ON panel too?
