Hi. Aknowledged the -3 fps + vsync on stuff, there's a problem with this game.
Vsync ON from NVCPL doesn't work. FPS won't be capped.
Vsync ON from the game works, should i use this instead? Is it double buffer or triple?
Or opt for like 138 fps vsync off?
Thanks.
League of Legends VRR how to?
Re: League of Legends VRR how to?
Does this game have an FPS limiter? Then you can use that and set vsync OFF everywhere.

Re: League of Legends VRR how to?
It does, but only has a few presets: 25, 30, 60, 80, 120, 144, 200, and 240 FPS. You can't manually select your FPS cap (at least I don't know how). As for NVCP vsync, I think it's working as it should: it engages while under your refresh rate limit, and disables whenever you reach it.
I have a 144 Hz FreeSync monitor, so I cap to 120 FPS using the in-game limiter + NVCP vsync. Game is in full screen mode. I think this is better than capping with RTSS to 141 FPS.

Re: League of Legends VRR how to?
Yeah, that's what I would do as well. 120 cap in-game.

Vsync from NVCP doesn't work as i said
Re: League of Legends VRR how to?
Do you actually need vsync if you use 120FPS in-game cap?

Re: League of Legends VRR how to?
Just to add, you need to make sure G-SYNC is actually functioning in League in the first place; I've heard it's hit or miss in that game depending on the in-game window mode set.

Re: League of Legends VRR how to?
Yeah, don't use fullscreen optimizations. I ended up using 144fps cap because i couldn't make nvcp vsync work and RTSS 160fps had more input lag than in-game 144
Re: League of Legends VRR how to?
G-sync on
in-game vysnc is okay if nvcp vsync isn't available.
in-game limiter is usually better than rtss anyway.
you don't have to limit -3 from max refresh rate, i usually put it at vsync number (30-45-60-75-90-105-120), and from what i heard in my own thread, put the limit nearest the average of your min-max fps.
