Can you share your settings with me?SwaggyFN wrote: ↑16 Dec 2019, 05:26Of course I considered cheaper ones but the reviews for the xn253qx were amazing. And for myself now just to let u know - i have never seen such a good monitor. Brooooo a TN-Panel with almost IPS Image quality. If you tweak everything right you get a perfect picture. Everything clean and fast. No blur no ghosting.
Already received mine, this shit is fast out of the box.

Re: Acer Predator XN253QX - Your Thoughts
Hi!
My first post here, and I would like to add something to this thread:
There is no monitor control software for Acer XN253QP (or ...QX), or is there? "Acer Display Widget" does not support this monitor, unfortunately.
Without a suitable software, one is forced to use the monitor buttons to switch profiles, response time etc. I would do this many times a day, because I would need different settings for reading, surfing as opposed to playing games. My fear is that the buttons may break sooner or later!
Also too bad that only few vcp commands work on this monitor, it isn't possible to switch profiles or change the response time this way (using tools like "ddcutil" or "ddcset", "ClickmonitorDDC" etc.).
But the Acer (in my case: XN253QP) is fast! My impression is that it is more responsive than the HP Omen X 25f, though the latter is said to have the lowest input lag ever tested by rtings. On the other hand, the 25f can easily be controlled via software, which is a big plus! I am not quite convinced about its responsiveness as compared to the Viewsonic XG240R or the Dell S2719DGF - those appeared to be more responsive to me, for whatever reason...

well to be honest rting testing are okey but they have tested only omen not other monitors with same panel if you check their monitor list there are only 2 240hz 1080p monitors that were tested
Re: Acer Predator XN253QX - Your Thoughts
Hi,
I just bought an Acer XN253QX, and while trying to activate 3DVision, i get a "No 3D Compatible display found" despite that "3DVision Ready" sticker at the bottom of the Screen Oo!
I'm really disappointed.
I tried activating "Generic CRT" but it leads to tons of Crosstalk and such using this mode.
Any thought?
Monitor seems to have been manufactured on May 2019

You shouldn't need to change response time setting ever... Standard is the best mode and with the display controller being Nvidia G-sync module, variable overdrive will eliminate any overshoot or trailing from VRR fluctuation.sempronius wrote: ↑22 Dec 2019, 12:13Hi!
