XG270 / LG 27GL850

Post by verllar » 14 Feb 2020, 10:57

Hello, I have a couple of questions. 1. If my fps drops to 60, even with gtx 1080 and 1080p, then PureXP is much worse than g sync compatible? Of course in both situation v-sync on in NCP 2. Does hdr10 works with gsync comp. or not even with g-sync module hardware?

Gsync Compatible is Freesync essentially.
I don't know about HDR but it is not a Gsync HDR module, that's for sure. Overclocking the monitor is always a thing, not really worth it in most cases.
overdrive can always be enabled, however neither of those monitors holds up to the 1ms GtG spec. Actually not a single commercially available monitor does. Full Black to white was about 4.6 ms I think.
Neither of those is a disadvantage though. You're more likely to have human errors rather than the Monitor holding you back. if you're strictly pc gaming with no emulation you should go with the LG.
