So I've been researching a lot on this subject and am getting mixed answers. Can someone that has tested all these thoroughly provide to me the best most optimal settings? I have an i9-9900k, a RTX 2080ti, and a 240hz monitor. Currently im using these settings:
Image Sharpening: Sharpening Off, Scaling Enabled. Is the scaling enabled part necessary or does it hurt frames and increase input delay?
Ambient Occlusion: Off
Anisotropic Filtering: Off
Antialiasing - FXAA: Off
Antialiasing - Gamma Correction: Off
Antialiasing - Mode: Off
Low Latency Mode: On. Better than off or ultra?
Max Frame Rate: Off
Monitor Technology: G-SYNC
Multi-Frame Sampled AA (MFAA): Off
Power Management Mode: Prefer Maximum Performance
Preferred Refresh Rate: Highest Available
Shader Cache: On
Texture Filtering - Anisotropic Sample Optimization: On
Texture Filtering - Negative LOD Bias: Allow
Texture Filtering - Quality: High Performance
Texture Filtering - Trilinear Optimization: On
Threaded Optimization: On. Is this better than Auto?
Triple Buffering: Off
Vertical Sync: Use the 3D Application Setting. I have it on ingame because battlenonsense said it could trigger other optimizations inside the game engine. Ive tested it with just on and they both feel the same.
Like i said everyone is saying different things and i just want a undeniable best settings list that i can tag in case people want proof.
Best NVCP Settings for Fortnite help
Re: Best NVCP Settings for Fortnite help
Most of these are not important. Use the defaults. The only settings that are useful here are:
Image Sharpening
Low Latency Mode
Max Frame Rate
Power Management Mode
Preferred Refresh Rate
Vertical Sync
These should be pretty self-explanatory. Use whatever you prefer.
