Help regarding G sync compatible. csgo

Post by MCP » 13 Feb 2020, 09:38

Hello i need some help...

I have a freesync monitor Acer 25 240 hertz.

For csgo.....
Been playing cs from 1.3 version so yeah 2002... So i have skill when it come to CS, it was my main game.
I have this new PC now. So 2070 RTX acter nitro 25 amd 3700x.

In csgo i feel like mouse is not smooth at all, difficulty to aim, it just feel shit to be honnest.

So how should i correctly configure all that stuff ?

In nvidia pannel config atm fps cap at 235 + g sync ON only.

Screen option Freesync is on.

Should i use both g sync + v sync on and dont cap fps ?

I dont really understand all that tbh............. Thanks.

gsync + vsync+ ll on + ingame cap -3fps (237fps)
or
gsync off + vsync off + ll on + no cap

There is a possibility that the reason is not in synchronization, but in processor energy-saving modes (BIOS and Windows settings).
I often do not clearly state my thoughts. google translate is far from perfect. And in addition to the translator, I myself am mistaken. Do not take me seriously.

gsync + vsync+ ll on + ingame cap -3fps = (237fps) For better consistency

gsync off + vsync off + ll on + no cap = for less input lag if you can support 240+ fps.

Depends. If you don't want reverse ghosting, set it to normal. You can test the different settings here:

https://www.testufo.com/ghosting

Most monitors usually provide the best motion quality in their "medium" setting (or the equivalent thereof.) That page allows you to see the differences between the settings, and it's up to you what to use.

Thanks for your time people.

Id like exactly to know wich settings that have to be off from nvidia control panel and from the screen also.

on/off..

So IMO G sync/Vsync off i get a better feeling thats for sure. From the screen directly now, freesync options should be off in my opinion ??

Here are my settings atm.

Screen options low latency on and reaction time to normal. Freesync off.

Nvidia panel control low latency mod, should i enable it there as well ? Dont think as i have now G sync/v sync off.
