BenQ XL2411 with RTX 2070 Super connectivity problem.
BenQ XL2411 with RTX 2070 Super connectivity problem.
Hello, my brother bought new GPU RTX2070 Super from MSI which come with 3 x display port and 1 x HDMI connector. The problem is he's using Benq XL2411 display for gaming which one has only DVI-D and HDMI connector. I've tried to link it via HDMI 2.0 cable but maximum I've achieved was FHD 90 Hz, with higher refresh rate monitor went blue with no signal error. Does anyone tried Display Port -> DVI-D adapters? I've heard it's works only as a single link what resault with no 144 hz refresh rate. Any solution?

The solution is either getting a newer monitor, or getting a GPU with a DVI-D output.
The reason:
You can only convert from HDMI or DP to DVI single link, passively.
For dual link, you'd need an active converter, which means more input lag... which defeats the purpose of having a high refresh rate gaming monitor.
