Talk about overclocking displays at a higher refresh rate. This includes homebrew, 165Hz, QNIX, Catleap, Overlord Tempest, SEIKI displays, certain HDTVs, and other overclockable displays.

Hey, I overclocked my XL2411P to 165hz but whenever I open CSGO it uses 144hz. I tried both CRU and Nvidia control panel. CSGO just doesn't seem to run at 165 in fullscreen mode. Works fine on windowed but not fullscreen. Has anyone found a fix?
There are two common techniques:
-- Use command line option "--refresh 165"
-- Or last-resort of deleting 144Hz via ToastyX CRU. (You can restore 144Hz via reset-all.exe included with CRU)
Try the command line option.
You can also add this to Steam too (
Old YouTube guide).

I may be wrong about this, but when i do 200hz overclock i have to go into SoftMMC and click the two option, didn't the OORBuster tool did the same thing? I have running in the backround and even pressing Alt-Home it doesn't work, didn't it it worked before in this scenario?

It works for most users, so not sure. Are you on Windows 10? What is your exact monitor and its firmware version? You may be missing some
VC redistributables.
When you launch
Anti Out of Range (not
OOR Buster), what values for
0xCC and
0xDC does it show?
BenQ XL2546K @ 240Hz (DyAC+) • ROCCAT Kone Pro Air @ 1000Hz • HyperX Alloy Origins • CORSAIR MM350 PRO Premium • HyperX Cloud Revolver • NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 @ 2130MHz/8000MHz • Intel Core i7-8700K @ 4.8GHz • G.SKILL RipjawsV 16GB (2x8GB) 3000MHz CL15

Yes on windows 10, monitor is XL2411Z, firmware v004-20141205
Haven't used that tool before,
It says:
0xCC = 2
0xDC = 0
I put both files on startup, seems to be working fine now, i think the AOOR tool doesn't actually do something unless i type how many seconds

I am so sorry to bother you but I'm going to be honest with you i have been following this thread for a while now and when I suddenly decide to try all this i found that your Oorbuster tool has a broken download link
I know I literally just created an account to report your OORbuster dl link being deleted but still could you please, by any chance, get me a new download link?
Thanks for everything

I have a benq xl2411 monitor. Can you overclock? In case you can not know which would be the best optimization.
Thank you.

Yes, all XL2411s in existence overclocks, though to varying different levels of success.
Try it!

Update to add new data point:
Rochester on Discord (#monitor-discussion on the Monitor Enthusiasts server) confirms a successful XL2430T overclock to 215Hz without S-Switch.

On my monitor benq xl2411
I have managed to overclock up to 210 hz, but only on the windows desktop.
When I open the CSGO it goes back to 144hz.
- From the launch options I have put "-refresh 200"
- I have reinstalled the NVIDIA drivers.
And it always appears in the game 144hz
Can you help me?
