In windows, it doesn't let me go above 60Hz. It does show 280Hz as an option but after applying it goes back to 60Hz.
I installed the driver from Asus website and I use the included DP cable.
Tried reinstalling GPU drivers, replugging the DP cable, restarting the computer..
Anyone have a clue to what might be the problem?
Thanks.
Asus VG259QM stuck on 60Hz on windows
Re: Asus VG259QM stuck on 60Hz on windows
Ok, it seems like I fixed it.
The cause was CRU. There were traces left from my older monitor.
I used the Reset-All file and it fixed it. Was able to see all of the refresh rate range on windows afterwards.

Uninstall with DDU
Select refresh rate in nvidia control panel

Re: Asus VG259QM stuck on 60Hz on windows
Well, it happened again. Something weird is going on with windows.
I used the reset-all file again and it went back to normal. Maybe windows or my GPU (RX 580) doesn't support 280Hz?
I also have my TV connected to my GPU via HDMI and it keep resetting from duplicate to extend this display.
I will try to get a certified DP cable and test.
