Overclocking MSI Optix MPG341CQR to 215 Hz [SUCCESS]

Hi guys,

Im using MSI Optix mpg341cqr (144hz UWide) and i overclocked to 200hz and 215hz works too.
I did on Nvidia panel but i can only play on windowed mode or windowed fullscreen... If im using fullscreen it automatically change to 144hz.

How can i fix that ?

Wow, nice MSI overclock of 144 Hz to 215 Hz.

To fix that, there are two approaches:
(A) Delete 144 Hz in ToastyX CRU
--or--
(B) Create a different resolution that only has one refresh rate.

My technique is to delete about 1 or 2 pixels from visible resolution, and add 1 or 2 to Vertical Front Porch. I use this trick to force certain games to run at certain unique refresh rates, by forcing some custom resolutions to have only one refresh rate available. I've been using a 1920x1079 trick in some of my games to force a specific refresh rate into a game that stubbornly selects a different refresh rate. By switching resolutions via game settings, I enforce a refresh rate.

I can't go over 119hz in my native resolution with CRU, is that normal ?
Like i said, i can go 3440x1440@200hz, and lower resolutions @215hz with custom on Nvidia Panel


200hz (native resolution) on Nvidia Panel :


200hz (native resolution) on CRU :


119hz MAX on CRU :


And with 1920x1080 i can go with 215hz added on CRU and restarted computer, but the frequency doesn't appear on Nvidia Panel or CS:GO.
I'm a bit new in Monitor OC ^^, and just wanna play 1920x1080@215hz in CS:GO and 3440x1440@200hz in Dota2.

Add a display ID as an extension block on the bottom, and add your resolution there, anything over a certain rate won't show up where you put them

I have the same monitor and anything over 144hz just isn't smooth, can you please share how you did it??

When you create a custom mode in the nvidia control panel, you can see the timings of that mode (Active pixels, Front porch, etc.):



So can then try to copy the exact same timings in CRU and see if it works then.
