Don't install revios, just figure out how to tweak your own system holy shit. Stop looking for one stop shop "fps boot input lag fix and ping boost". Why are you shilling?
Get help. You are not acting normal.

Man TBH guys I still don't know what this even is and what is going on ? lol So from what I gather from the link Revios is a alternate OS for PC's ? Which is suggested by goa604 as a better bloat free OS ? But Happyalive is against it and saying goa604 is a shill or this thread is a shill ?

I'm confused. lol But running off a unsupported OS is a touch scary for me (as far as staying updated to support all future gaming needs, etc.) - maybe a little more explanation as to how it works and the support and guarantees it has would help.

That said, why is Happyalive so against it and calling shills ?

Because he is probably one of the people that sell their service of tweaking the windows. Join revios discord server and decide for yourself. I wont shill anything.

Installing revios has no actual benefits over tweaking a windows copy yourself, all you're doing is putting your fate in the hands of people who espouse advocacy for open-source but won't actually tell you what they've done to their os (no I don't think it's been keylogged or anything malicious).

Also revi isn't an unsupported os, it's windows with some shit stripped out and some bcdedits / reg keys / drivers (etc) integrated pre-install.

It is because you are installing a modified version of windows. You have no clue whats been done to it, and if something breaks, you have no clue whats causing the problem. There's nothing fundamentally wrong with ReviOS but learning to optimize/tweak your os is always going be superior to installed a pre-tweaked os or buying "tweaks" from twitter sellers.

You will know exactly whats being done to your os as well as know what tweak to revert in case something breaks or if something is not a good tweak for your specific system. So ask yourself are your really comfortable installing a closed sourced pre-tweaked os?

Yea I agree. Thats why I wouldn't do it. That said, I would like someone to walk me through my particular set up (Home Edition 10 with the script Group Policy Editor installed), as it seems when people give instructions, my particular options are slightly different.

lol. I am gaming daily. With zero issues. Loving it. I'm just a perfectionist and wouldn't mind doing more, as I only use this computer for gaming, so I wouldn't mind missing a few BS features.

If it takes a while, I won't care. I'm patient. But I'd rather have my OS exactly how I want to personal taste and not prefab'ed to someone else's taste. And the biggest thing, is if I do it all myself, then I truly know my computer now and I can make changes later as I may grow into other things.

So I better like the idea of me personally knowing the inside and outs of my OS, possibilities and etc..
