Use the service menu and not the bb utility.

Your picture was a lot more clear / less blurry. Look at your alien, you can see the black pixel in its eyes, which is not the case in the other pic. I'm pretty sure this is why you notice less crosstalk in the other pic.canth4 wrote: ↑24 Jul 2020, 22:49Thanks for the reply! I matched my settings but the result is basically the same as the image I posted. It seems like more crosstalk than I should expect based on your captures, don't you think?
It seems odd that adjusting Crosstalk Area in the strobe utility doesn't have any noticeable change on the crosstalk. I feel like I'm missing something but maybe it's not as bad as I think.
Re: BENQ Zowie XL2746S & XL2546S (*DISCONTINUED*) Owners Thread
Yeah I used the service menu and I can now definitely notice a difference changing the Area at especially high values. Can't say that I can find a better value than your suggestion of "10" though
nexina that's a good point. Maybe its simply just the fact that my image is a much higher resolution and the crosstalk shows more obviously.

I've posted this before but this is an accurate image of what mine looks like:
download/file.php?id=640
Now if you compare the two images, they're pretty similar. Yours is just higher resolution and the ladders on yours are not aligned. If you took the picture with the ladders aligned, it would probably look just like the one i posted here.

Thanks for sharing. Here's a couple of mine which are better aligned, I think they look a bit closer:

Got the 32" Samsung G7. This VA monitor gained some speed. The raw response time feels comparable as XL2546s, but not quite there. The 77% more pixels are incomparable though.

Hi everyone, we are so sorry for the confusion caused. Due to a shortage of parts during COVID-19 the XL2546S has not been able to maintain constant stock, so we don't have any updates on future shipments. We did a very poor job of wording our email and would like to apologize for our mistake. What we sent out was not intended as a discontinuation announcement, rather it was supposed to be a message to those (in the US) who didn't have a chance to pick up the XL2546S, so they wouldn't continue to wait for a restock. We wanted to let people know that even though the XL2546S is not available, we have been working on another option for the XL2546 series that will offer very similar benefits to the XL2546S.

That's just another way of them saying it's discontinued. At least now we know it was because of a part shortage. So I don't think the "new" version will be any better, probably just a different panel that may or may not be as good as the XL2546S.SigFig wrote: ↑26 Jul 2020, 10:55FYI re: the S "discontinuation" email

For 16:9 aspect ratio, i think Samsung should release also flat 240Hz VA monitors, i would never buy curved screen, due to bad geometry. I guess i'm not the only one who thinks this.
