@stevie66 your right it's blantant on his test however he did have a very poor set up with all the monitors plugged in at once to compare them so maybe he didn't record the 360hz UFO test good either? Yeah I think I'm grasping at straws too the only saving grace is that 5 different brands have 360hz monitors coming out all with I'm assuming the same panel but tweaked differently and so I'm going to hope the best panel of them all has some neat work around to make it the big daddy of them all since I'd love that Native g sync for games like Detroit ans older titles I'd hate to have to buy a whole new monitor but hell I'm just speculating I should just chill until some more creditable people get the 360hz

Yeah we will just have to wait for better reviewers to get their hands on the 360hz monitors, they are out of my price-range(if they all come with GSync and that new Nvidia Reflex thing, MSI one says $800 and available November) but still interested to see how they perform.

Regardless of how good these 360hz monitors are some MSI owners will resell and that's probably the best time to find them on the market

the motion clarity is much better on the MAG251RX than the Asus PG259QN. Its best overdrive according to Linus is that horrendous looking overshoot. As a matter of fact, its 240hz UFO test looks much better than its 360hz UFO test(based off that Linus video)

the gist of 360hz is that there's 4% less input lag and slightly less persistence. But a way to sabotage that is inverse ghosting which makes it unplayable. If the PG259QN has an OD setting without overshoot but with minimal ghosting(like OD fast on the MSI MAG251RX), then maybe it's "better".

also Native G-sync is only as GOOD if it's tuned correctly. If Linus UFO test is correct that its best OD is based off an overshoot then i'm going to have to pass.

Unfortunately, i'm going to pass up on reviewing the PG259QN because if i buy a monitor, i have all the intentions of keeping it and if Linus UFO test is true that it has that UGLY looking inverse ghosting corona, i will pass.

Same with the Odyssey G7 27" has overshoot making it unplayable(then again 1440p 240hz is unplayable for AAA titles even if you have the rtx 3090

I believe there will be people who see 360hz and will just auto buy" it's new it's better it's got all the promotion behind it" that's when I hope the MSI comes down in price from people selling them before realising that may be a bad choice, literally it's cheaper for me to buy it from the US and ship it to the EU than buy it from the EU that's how overpriced it is it's ridiculous man i did have high hopes with the new Zowie but they've confirmed on twitter it's just the same panel at the older TN one with better ergonomics so that's going to be pointless which makes me even madder it's all bullshit I just hope either the MSI comes down or il have to save up more it is what it is

Well after giving the Alienware AW2521HF some more tests before returning it because of the screen issues, the only usable OD is the first one, looks pretty good but the MSI MAG looked better on Faster. Also with adaptive sync on all 3 ufo tests look the same, so it seems there's no variable OD going on just the 3 OD settings aren't any different from each other, one doesn't look less blurry than the next, which is sad.
Still like the LG 27GN750-B on the fast setting the best so far, though I wish it were 24" instead of 27"(kind of makes me want the Msi MAG again lol).
Will most likely test the 24" Asus next.

How should I configure the Asus TUF 259QM to play competitive VALORANT? I always have + 300fps, I hope you can help me!

Yeah i had a 1440p 27'' before moving to the mag251rx, 24'' is much better for competitive gaming imo
that being said I don't even use the MAG on fastest, I leave it on "fast" even if I'm not even getting 240hz compliance it feels much clearer visually
