- Control panel V-SYNC almost always behaves the same way as the default in-game V-SYNC option.
- Fast Sync works best on its own with an uncapped framerate that can exceed the refresh rate by at least 2x times, else the more stutter it causes (it uses those excess frames to display the best/most recent frames, and then drops the others to reduce input lag).
- Adaptive V-SYNC is control panel V-SYNC whenever the framerate is above the refresh, and is V-SYNC off whenever the framerate is below the refresh rate.
If you're using G-SYNC, always use NVCP V-SYNC or the in-game (double buffer) V-SYNC.
If you're not using G-SYNC, V-SYNC method selection becomes more situational and preferential.
