I need help!
Everytime I restart the computer, my windows doesnt recognize nothing more than 144hz.

I need reset the overclock at OSD settings, then click on again to appears in NVCP

Anyone know the solution for this?

How does 280hz/240hz ELMB compare to Dyac/MBR on the XL2546 and the MAG?

I am a strictly peripheral CS:GO player (stare-at-crosshair-only aiming technique) and thus I have very little interest in strobing (because it basically only helps in eye tracking situations and I don't do eye tracking in competitive play), so I did not test strobing modes extensively. I shared my opinion about VG259QM's ELMB here. If I HAD to choose, I'd always choose Zowie's DyAc, even though it seemed less clear than ELMB, because the brightness impact kills ELMB for me in practice. In addition to that, I did not test ELMB on 240 Hz on the ASUS, and I did not really test MBR on the MSI, it's way too dark for me to use it anyway.

Thanks for your feedback, the Omen is indeed a good and fast monitor and if it hadn't been for pixel inversion artifacts I would have kept it. The Omen is slightly faster than the Asus but negligible in my opinion and I couldn't feel the difference in game.
The UFO Ghosting Test is certainly valuable and useful for comparing monitors and settings but it is not always comparable to the experience you get in the game in my case CS:GO.
The "vertical lines" spoil the clear view during movements and in this way negate the advantage of 240hz.
With the Asus I have no problems with this at all (they just aren't there) and if you take the other advantages such as IPS, ergonomics, ELMB (sync), possibility of overclocking then the choice between the two is not that difficult.
A kd of 3.84 as you say is very good and also indicates that the monitor meets the expected performance, having said that I can well imagine that you will eventually choose the 360hz version if you want to accept the price difference, I personally think it's quite big.
I wonder what your choice will be after testing the XL2546K and the PG259QN, in the end they are all good monitors that will make the choice a bit more difficult.

I'm glad to share 3.84 KD is INSANE (I did it on pistols-only-headshot-only server, part of my practice routine), not only good Everything starting from 2.0 KD in CS:GO is good, and from 3.0 is superb, especially on harder servers, like "WarmupServer" line, I see pros playing there as well.

As for my final choice, I am also curious if performance improvement will justify the high price of PG259QN for me. I still don't know when this monitor will be available in my country, but I should get my hands on XL2546K this month. I will very likely share my experiences!

I only play CSGO. I'm Global Elite and FACEIT LVL10. My fps is between 250 ~ 400. What configuration do you recommend? Thanks

I just got it and it feels VERY responsive!
Im not using any sync at the moment at it feels great. Having almost no screen tearing feels very nice!
280hz seems to be stable (probably always the case) but do you guys think its gonna change the lifespan of the monitor in any way?

A little update:

i still have the one here i received first and it had almost perfect backlight (bleeding), great colors, deep blacks, nice white but there is something underneath a pixel which makes it look like its dead pixel. It's almost in the middle of the screen and bothers me.

So i bought another one from "Saturn" and it had exactly ONE pixel which didnt change it's color to black. I went back to the shop and returned it. The guy working there told me its quite common and said that i only get one replacement and after that i would have to keep it. So i just returned it.

Two days ago i bought another one from "Media Markt". This one has really bad backlight bleeding but no dead or stuck pixels.

Im completely lost. I like this monitor a lot (and by that i mean the first one i got from Amazon). But there seems to be really bad/no quality control regarding the panel by Asus.

I dont know what to do. Im about to quit my plan of getting a new GPU and a new monitor and just plug in my XL2411z again so i can forget about it :/

one more update:

I finally got a monitor without any pixel issues or bad backlight bleed.
It is the 5th monitor i had to buy to get one with no issues. I kinda feel bad about the fact that i sent 4 monitors back before getting this one. I never had to do that with any kind of tech before. It really seems like monitors are just the most "rng" tech you can buy.

But anyways... im so happy with this monitor! It's just great overall. I might get a monitor arm so my desk is even cleaner and there is more space whenever i need to take notes on my desk etc. If anyone can recommend a monitor arm i could buy off Amazon i would really appreciate it!

This is how the backlight looks on the monitor (brightness 100).
It's not perfect on this picture but that doesn't reflect how perfect it looks when im using the monitor. At 20 brightness and normal usage it's pretty much perfect.

One more thing regarding the picture i posted in the comment i quoted: the backlight bleeding of the left monitor changed and got better after a few hours. It was still noticeable but not that much.
I just wanted to say that because if someone buys this monitor and has no pixel issues one should really wait and see if the backlight bleeding gets better.

I'm not sure what you're asking for, but I guess for the best hardware for CS:GO to get better fps?

Counter-Strike is a CPU-heavy game, so basically what you need for a decent upgrade is to get the best single-core performance CPU, as the game is not-so-well optimised for multi-core use, so basically high single-core performance is what you want. GPU is not THAT important for this game, but you want low GPU load for the lowest possible latency, so be reasonable here as well. Your fps is already high, what's your current rig? For the time being I'd probably recommend AMD R5 5600X, apparently it's the best single-core performance CPU for the price now, R5 5600X beats even Intel i9 10900K in single-core performance.

My suggested configuration would be Ryzen 5 5600X + GTX 1080/RTX 2060 (or equivalent) or better/newer + at least 3600 MHz RAM modules.

Well, I have better fps than you I guess (320-340 average fps during competitive match), but yeah, I don't feel any negative effects in CS:GO if fps goes below refresh rate (I don't really notice any stuttering nor tearing), I like Source engine, it seems to manage this well. It's not certain that you'll feel the same way, keep that in mind.
