I'm finding stock of the 25" Asus to be impossible to find in my region but the Alienware is easy.

Are these IPS monitors really close to the BenQ XL2456K in input lag, motion clarity and pixel response?
Just recently received my Alienware AW2521HF and am very pleased with it. I was coming from a Ben Q Zowie 144hz and the difference in input lag alone is crazy. At some point I will likely do some more valuable testing myself, but currently, yeah really liking it.
Just wait for first vertical lines defect occurs

Hey RLCScontender, I got caught up reading your posts and decided to sign up lol.

I'm thinking of buying the 280HZ asus monitor, but now with releases of 360hz wouldn't those be better?

I'm looking for a monitor for games like Overwatch, and slower games like Valorant/CS:GO. Are your recommendations mostly for rocket league? Rocketleague is capped at 250hz, so would the 360hz monitors be better for the FPS games?

I also don't want to be the one disadvantaged in a game, trying to research my options. Would you say the 280HZ monitor is best for FPS games too? Or to go with the new 360hz even if they make the image more blurry or so?

@diakou

I actually used to post here every day. I posted here so much to the point where i was told to not do it too much to keep the topics balanced per user.

I posted every day because i had a lot of free time on my hands. I was unemployed and i was collecting unemployment benefits. This is actually very common among the professional gaming community because of covid-19 pandemic

I was so poor that people here made fun of me for buying a monitor and RETURNING IT for a full refund so i can try another 240hz IPS monitor. All because i wanted to share with everyone what my experiences were. (i'm not a professional reviewer where the company sends them a monitor for free for them to review it).

After i became sponsored whatsoever, things changed. This is my build. My headphones alone cost nearly $2000. I've recently been sponsored and now i am one of the best players in rocket league. Also, i've upgraded my PC build over time. From a poverty(unemployment) build to the most powerful gaming PC build right now.

If you look at my posting patterns, for the past 5-8 weeks i really havn't been posting that much. The reason why is because i have in fact been training.

i'm fairly certain ppl would think i'm just "trolling" but really i'm not. I was extremely broke the first few months of posting here. i was collecting unemployment benefits and i posted here so much that i was told to not post here too much. I was humbled and now i remain humble to this day because i know what it's like being broke and living off government assistance. Now, i still remain humble but at the same time, i take pride in what i've achieved this year.
Now, i probably have the fastest gaming PC build in the world. I'm also fairly confident I am in fact the best rocket league player in the world. I came from humble beginnings.

If you perceived what I said as an attack, you misunderstood me. I'd simply be positively surprised to see another person spend so much time outside of the game to improve lag conditions to "draw out" all of his skill and remove restrictions. The biggest problem however is the fact that you'd have to convince tournament organizers to have lag-optimized setups at LAN. Something in my long experience in the scene has never been done past very simple and obvious barebones optimizations. Hopefully with 360hz monitors and NVIDIA's reflex future and more, there'll be low enough latencies where most people should feel more than comfortable even if conditions are not 100% optimal or perfect.

Because it is one thing to have your setup be nice @ home and improve - but outside of COVID, competitions have empirically been all about LAN.

Eitherway, looking forward to your post, if it's true or not really doesn't matter to me at the end of the day, I enjoy the contributions.

Amazon has just delivered me an XB253Q, I already have an XB252Q.

I've played a few games and checked it out for a few hours and it all seems good, no dead pixels or defects and the bleed is not bad at all.

But I've just noticed the ghosting while scrolling text is awful!

Does anyone know if there is any difference between the AW2521HF and AW2521HFL beside their color.

you were probably so used to the inverse ghosting from the xb252q provided to the poitn where you thought it was "part of the game"

My cousin has the 252q TN, and i didn't like all the unwanted LCD artifacts it had. Not to mention the pixel inversion artifacts that i easily see.

if you want better motion clarity with the least unwanted LCD artifacts, get the vg259qm. It's in my opinion the monitor with the overall best motion clarity(strobing on and off)
