hi guys, why do you choose a zowie 2546k over a 360hz today? I ask you this question because I have been testing the benq for a month now, and I am waiting for an alienware 360hz, I would like to know your opinion
I have neither of those two monitors, but here are a few reasons why I wanna pick up the XL2546K(or XL2540K) over the PG259QN.

- From what I've been reading, the PG259QN performs like the Xl2546K in terms of motion-clarity, but when Dyac+ is ON, the BenQ performs better.
- The PG259QN is significantly more expensive.
- 360hz is very niche. I mainly play battlefield, and averaging 360fps is not really possible in those games. (this applies to future battlefield games and other fps games too).

I would love to know your opinion after trying out that 360hz Alienware.

Just got my XL2546K. The motion clarity is better than my VG259QM but realistically not by much. AMA High Dyac Premium vs ELMB 280. The ufo test at 960 pps looks about the same while at 1920 pps there is more crosstalk on the darker row for the VG259QM.

The bad viewing angles on the tn panels is much more noticeable

Thx. I expected the next FHD TN panels will jump to at least 360. This is another ASUS 280*Hz (* = 240 native)

Same in VG259QM page: https://www.asus.com/Displays-Desktops/ ... g-VG259QM/

This "factory overclock" OSD option is interesting, but next gen is still cooking. I wonder if warranty "full cover" 280Hz in IPS models and this new TN, because if RMA only cover fails up to 240, means it would be a lottery reach 280. Anyone know details about this ?

Hopefully this "noise" cause Zowie release native 360 ;)

VG258QM manual not available still. VG259QM manual show with ELMB (not ELMB-Sync) only support 120, 144, 240, 280 single strobed frequencies, this is very dissappointing. XL2546K DyAc+ support all betwhen 100-240 range, and Chief say can reach also 75-100 range with custom resolution beyond EDID. If VG258QM is released with the same single strobe limits than VG259QM, can't be compared with the versatility of DyAc+. For instance in XL2746S the best DyAc+ balance for FPS reported in the dedicated thread is 182Hz, best ratio "motion smoothness/crosstalk", confirmed by pursuit video.

If ELMB-Sync still not apply single strobe, it can't show with quality the dream VRR+Strobe, because multiple images artifacts cause eye strain. Lets see if ASUS finally fixed.

I did not find any information about the release date, I messaged ASUS in this regard.
Just out of curiosity, why do you prefer 27" over 24.5" display with 1080p resolution?

Hi Everyone,

Great to see all the discussions. I am sure someone asked and the answers is already there, but can someone help to link if there is a comparison between XL2546 DyAC 1ms (just the previous edition) with XL2546K 0.5ms.

I have the XL2546 and not sure if the 0.5ms response time is worth upgrading. The DyAC vs. DyAC+ I don't think there are that many changes.

Super appreciate of the help!

Could you tell, which one is your favorite and why?)
