OD Gain is like a continuum from ghosting all the way to coronas. You can view www.testufo.com/ghosting or one of www.testufo.com/photo while adjusting this.

OD Gain and Tracefree is the same thing.
OD Gain is simply giving you finer adjustments.
OD Gain = like Tracefree in "+1 increments" instead of "+20 increments"
OD Gain 1 = Tracefree 1
OD Gain 2 = Tracefree 2
OD Gain 3 = Tracefree 3
OD Gain 4 = Tracefree 4
OD Gain 5 = Tracefree 5
OD Gain 6 = Tracefree 6
[etc]
[etc]
[etc]
OD Gain 95 = Tracefree 95
OD Gain 96 = Tracefree 96
OD Gain 97 = Tracefree 97
OD Gain 98 = Tracefree 98
OD Gain 99 = Tracefree 99
OD Gain 100 = Tracefree 100
Something like that, although it does not always symmetrically map 1:1 on all models. But you get the idea.

Sometimes you may have a situation (on some models of monitors) where the gain stack on each other. For example Tracefree might be one setting added to OD Gain in a different setting (e.g. Retail Overdrive 20 and Factory OD Gain 30, might translate to the equivalent of OD Gain 50 (20+30)) on a different brand than ASUS.
However, I think in your specific case, OD Gain overrides the Tracefree setting.

ok understandable in that casei think imma leave tracefree at default 60 and set od gain where i dont see ghosting instead of tracefree 100
