Hello to everyone and happy new year.
When I start a game like Fortnite, Battlefield 1 or Warzone my screen goes black and loses the DP signal, I will have to press the ALT + tab to have the video signal reset.
Even when I start Warzone, it automatically sets the monitor to 60 or 100hz. (Only with Warzone)
It only happens if I have G-sync enabled. If G-sync is off everythings works fine.
I have tried with different driver versions, even the ones that should fix the problem but didn't work.
I have tried different DP cable.
I have always used DDU
My specs: I7 8700K, RTX 2080 Strix, actually I use last version of nvidia driver

Re: Asus Rog XG248Q - G sync On and no DP signal
Sounds a lot like mode switch happening puts signal out due to some resolution/refresh rate combo. If you were to create a new resolution through nvidia control panel with the max refresh rate of the monitor on automatic at 1920x1079 and choose "no scaling" on GPU in "adjust desktop size and position" Does it fix?
If not, I'm not too sure if VRR ranges are also another reason for it going crazy during start up turning into no signal instantly.

Re: Asus Rog XG248Q - G sync On and no DP signal
Today I got my new 240hz monitor and g sync ... Alienware AW2521HF. I started warzone and fortnite in full screen and g sync on and there was no problem I had with XG248Q.
Why?
ps: I could do RMA on XG24Q
