What's more, the Razer Synapse software can automatically switch profiles (DPI, pollrate, etc) based on the game executable launching. One game could be configured to 2000 Hz automatically and another game could be configured to 8000 Hz automatically.

(Or even simply configure it to key on steam.exe if you want a catchall for games but not Windows apps).

The only game I've found in the past year that has any visible bug with 8khz polling is Rust, which stutters if you turn ingame with 8khz enabled. Dropping to 4khz fixes it, though.

bump my question
8000Hz is good, but what about typical Windows and high frequency problems. For example, even 1000Hz has such problems

This is how the cpu-z and nvidia control panel work for me. Only at 1000 Hz, at 500 Hz, this is absolutely normal.

but what about epic, uplay(now ubisoft connect), gog, bnet, origin etc lollol.

jokes aside i've bought this at the retail price first thing and have it on my desk now too after 3 months. i hope this endorsment after all the shenanigans over at that sub that no longer welcomed me means a future shape is still on the table, as it was the case with basilisk gen 2 when viper originally came out. either way gonna test this baby out see if it ends the avago 9800 raw 8kdpi reign of terror in smoothness for 8+ years. (yes there's an abundance of 8, i'm gonna wear some hot chillies 8k underwear for the occasion too)

bug at 2k, visible but not 8x as smooth, could be 1200hz cap on areson, could be my 180hz monitor or not optimized 10700k build.

It looks like in this video RJN has issues with a 8000hz in a lot of games. Is that the experience of other 8kHz users in the same games?

Haven't had any stuttering in any of those myself. Could be some platform-specific intricacies involved.

He was too quick to make that video. turn's out he had most of those games setup wrong. Probably worried people are going to buy the 8khz viper over his new mouse. Don't think he's the best source when it comes to technical stuff and setup.
