did you realize when you reinstal windows your capacitors cleaned up on motherboard thats why you get better result after reinstaling windows and when you try different outlet you just change a path which in the end will catch you anywayblackmagic wrote: β13 Aug 2021, 07:57nah that does nothing at all for me...i play with that all around and give up.SixRavens wrote: β11 Aug 2021, 20:40Literally fighting the power xDblackmagic wrote: β11 Aug 2021, 19:16
i know 1 more Russlan guy who too fight something bad and he already tried much in his apartment but it looks like he still dont solve it 100%. he even make an extra seperate power socket line into his apartment and had contact to electrics guys...
Speaking of those comments tho.. They both dont seem really knowledgeable, just trying to find anything to step on as we all do. And as we all - they are yet to succeed in their theories. My takeaway from those comments - "These are not values mere mortal can measure"(Which is not surprising since they took on interhartmonics). I might be wrong tho, but I'm yet to see any plausible fix. Their general idea is the butterfly effect, 1 wrong tick destroys stability of a whole system. Or a whole bunch of ticks, whichever you like the most) Sweet idea, but without proper testing it is of no help to us.
Btw, did you try "100% fix" from the comment under his latest 40min video? With affinities and such? Just curious![]()
guys when switch to other place or try other power sockets in your apartments...
you reinstalled windows and try use fresh ssd ?
that still dont gives changes to you ? you noticed nothing different ?
this question is specially for these who bring there pc in another apartments and still dont noticed improvement.
i maybe have a theory here but probably a bullshit one...
im sure that whatever hit me here it all started after a windows reinstall. at that time i start to notice that something is not more like before and nothing helped me here since that...really dark times and bullshit happen then here since that.
but i always used 1 power socked here and reinstall my windows always on this 1 power socket and never tried to install windows on other place/apartment or power socket and with fresh new sdd.
you ask where i get this theory from...
i was some days ago in another apartment where is my old setup and bring new fresh sdd there and install windows. after i noticed that something changed visual and it seems not to degrade...
i still dont full test that all but im gonna this days do better test and try to find out what is different in that another apartment than here.
but there is clearly a difference now after new ssd and ye windows install...no doubt. 60hz just looks way different now in that other apartment and better than my 144hz here in this current apartment.
that what i suspect and think right now.
it all sounds crazy and its even crazy for me.

Interference of all kinds (wired, wireless, external, internal, environment, bad component) can cause error-correction (ECC) latencies like a bad modem connection, except internally in a circuit. ECC = retransmits = lag. Troubleshooting may require university degree. Your lag issue is likely not EMI.

Yup. Have built a whole new PC in my current location, apart from graphics card and PSU, but those I've upgraded earlier. No changes, tho for me the problem is not consistent, sometimes its there, sometimes its not.blackmagic wrote: β13 Aug 2021, 07:57guys when switch to other place or try other power sockets in your apartments...
you reinstalled windows and try use fresh ssd ?
Would you mind elaborating how does Windows reinstall affect capacitors on motherboard?

Re: [Power/EMI] I discover why sometime PC become fast and low input lag and otherwise feel high input lag
I've tried to reset steam cloud, excluded virus since I've reinstalled windows like 25 times by now and had mutliple HDDs and SSDs. Tried 2 or 3 monitors 75 and 144 Hz and see no reason to invest in 240-360 ones. I'm wondering if there is a possibility to COMPLETELY wipe steam cloud out.
Currently messing with IRQs and gonna try LTSC windows, but I'm running out of options and about to admit that I'm cursed and just give up)
Re: [Power/EMI] I discover why sometime PC become fast and low input lag and otherwise feel high input lag
i think the best way to be sure its not steam is reinstall window to clear SSD formated and dont log anywhere (fb,ig,gmails and steam] just create new steam and buy one game for test. some guy said he fixed like that but i didnt tested yetSixRavens wrote: β13 Aug 2021, 12:26I've tried to reset steam cloud, excluded virus since I've reinstalled windows like 25 times by now and had mutliple HDDs and SSDs. edit: and yeaa people said they have problem on nonsteam games or playing without steam, but when you log in steam that starting downloading hundreds files to your pc..
Re: [Power/EMI] I discover why sometime PC become fast and low input lag and otherwise feel high input lag
Thats just time waste. Its not your hardware or Software. Bios stuff only reduce it not fix it. Get a electrian over do to electricity analyse with Harmonic Distortion and Electronic Noise.

Re: [Power/EMI] I discover why sometime PC become fast and low input lag and otherwise feel high input lag
I have exactly the same. 300 fps feels like 100 fps or even worse. Funny thing is it vanished at around 1am to 6 am, games feeling fast as they should. And i have the same on console too.blackmagic wrote: β13 Aug 2021, 14:34same here...just feel cursed but my still healthy human logic says that im not. there is a 24/7 fight in my mind that just going on since this all problems hit me here...
example: valorant.
i watch streams and just see how the game can run...
but for me here it is clearly not the same like for many this guys. its bullshit for my eyes and that most of the time 24/7...
i start to compare fps, ping and just search for differences but there is nothing different when it comes to this numbers...i have same stats like this streamer guys and in some case even better fps, ping and 0% packetloss, and faster cpu, gpu response time if trust all this ingame stats...
the only difference i see is that there games just runs fking smooth even with having low fps and there hitreg, aim just works normal in most cases and most of the time.
it looks fun to play like this and such condition like this streamers have and i can imagine that it is and i miss this good condition here..
i had a time where my games run exact like that from streamers but today it dont more and that just fucks me all up hard. that breaks my logic and common human sense.
Re: [Power/EMI] I discover why sometime PC become fast and low input lag and otherwise feel high input lag
maybe I'm shocking you now but yeah, i tested new pc, my friends PCs in another location, after few hours maybe less problem comes again
